NEW ORLEANS Harrah's Casino, The big-boy downtown. Harrahs has a huge poker room and spreads 3-6 limit and a lot of no limit, 1-2, 2-5, 5-10, some half and half. It has a weekly tournament on Wednesdays and plenty of action. They have a great hotel that is newly built and also partner with the nearby Hilton for cheaper rates. Boomtown Casino, A riverboat casino on the West side of town. Boomtown runs tournaments every wednesday at 7 and every other Saturday. There are 9 tables and spread mostly limit (3-6) and half and half during the day with some 1-2 games at night. It can get wild at Boomtown. |

Isle of Capri Casino, A small room with lots of tournaments and a healthy nightly no limit game. Boomtown Biloxi, Smokers paradise. They run weekly tournaments and are THE choice for the smoking player to play. Mostly low limit and a small room.
